Rooftop Movies returns for its longest season yet!

The city’s premier open-air cinema returns to transform the roof above the City of Perth Parking Roe Street Car Park into a one-of-a-kind cinematic experience, combining movie magic with breathtaking views for the best evening out this sunny season.

Rooftop Movies kicks off early this year from October 8, packed with Halloween spirit featuring a month of spooky cinema including The Shining and Scream, The Rocky Horror Picture Show with dress-up party included, and a host of future classics like Beetlejuice Beetlejuice and Blink Twice.

For the first movie drop of the season, you can also catch brand spanking new blockbusters Deadpool & Wolverine and Joker: Folie A Deux or score tickets to annual sell-out fan-fave screenings of 10 Things I Hate About You and 13 Going on 30.

Cinematic goodies aside, Rooftop Movies will be playing host to a slate of super special events. Rise and shine for the return of Rooftop Yoga, get creative at a High-Rise Hobby Club or boogie the night away at a Rooftop Dance Party.

Benedict's Burgerbuns is back to fire up the grill with mouth-watering burgers, The Candy Bar celebrates a new selection of indulgent local WA wines and spirits and Gage Roads returns to serve top notch brews with unmissable views.

“The ARTRAGE crew can’t wait to light up the city skyline even earlier this year” said Rooftop Project Lead Alana Cook, “Opening up earlier in October means we can serve up even more spooky Halloween classics and remix our classic nostalgia/blockbuster recipe with a bunch of special events... there are loads of new experiences on offer, so stay tuned as we announce more across the season”.

Keep an eye out on socials and the Rooftop Movies website for five more thrilling program releases made over the season.
