The stars twinkled one last time over Rooftop this season as Rooftop Encore concluded its four-week run on Saturday, April 27th. Local FRINGE WORLD favourites, Yuck Circus and Tone & Cheek, brought the house down for a dazzling finale.

Rooftop Encore Shines Bright for its Final Performance
Yuck Circus's "Naughties" took audiences on one last trip down memory lane. Filled with high-flying acrobatics and all the best pop culture references from the early 2000s. Meanwhile, Tone & Cheek's disco diva filled diner "Tuck Shop" served up an all you can eat buffet of comedy, live vocals, dance, acrobatics, burlesque and more. Both shows received rave reviews and played to packed houses throughout the season. If you were one of the lucky ducks who snagged a ticket, you'd definitely agree – these world-premiere shows delivered unparalleled entertainment and wonder under the stars.

Rooftop Season Comes to a Close
With Rooftop Encore's conclusion, the Rooftop Movies venue closes its elevator doors for the season. But don't fret, fans! Rooftop Movies will be back with the sunshine in September, ready to usher in a new season of open-air entertainment.
